Catch The Robber

A robber is loose in your house. You can't outrun him — but you can out-trap him.

Catch The Robber is a cat-and-mouse arcade chase played across a house full of rooms and doorways. Lay your traps at the doors, wait for the alarm, then follow the arrow and grab the thief before he wriggles free.

But he is playing exactly the same game. Every doorway you walk through might be hiding one of his.

FIVE TRAPS, FIVE WAYS TO CATCH HIM
• Rope Snare — hoists him up by the ankle and leaves him swinging
• Banana Skin — feet straight out from under him
• Paint Bucket — tips off the door frame and covers him head to toe
• Ceiling Net — drops and tangles him for a full 35 seconds
• Glue Puddle — quick to lay and hard to spot

TWO CLOCKS ARE ALWAYS TICKING
Traps do not last forever. Every trap perishes three minutes after you lay it, so you have to keep re-mining the house as the hunt moves around it. And the whole round is on a timer too. Sit still and you lose.

A HOUSE THAT KEEPS GROWING
Start out in a 16-room house. Reach level 11 and it opens up to 25 rooms. Push past level 30 and it becomes 36 — with more traps in your bag and more time on the clock to work with.

HEAR IT, THEN HUNT IT
The moment a trap springs, an alarm sounds and an arrow points straight through the walls at the robber. Sprint for him — and watch the doorways on the way, because that is exactly where he has been busy.

THREE DIFFICULTIES
Play as a Sneak Thief hunter for a gentler chase, take the intended challenge as a Cat Burglar, or test yourself against a Master Thief who moves faster, senses you from further away and floods the house with traps.

GET CAUGHT AND IT IS HIS TURN
Walk into one of his traps and you are stuck fast — and he will come looking. Sit there watching him close in and you will find out exactly how it feels from the other side.
