Jibberpop

Jibberpop is a "lexical stacker" that blends the spatial pressure of a falling-block game with the vocabulary strategy of a word game. One letter drops at a time — where you place it determines everything.

HOW TO PLAY

Drag or tap to position each falling letter across an 8-column grid. When three or more letters spell a valid word — left to right or top to bottom — they light up. Tap the highlighted tiles to pop the word and score points. Miss your moment and the letters pile up. Stack too high and it's game over.

THINK AHEAD, SCORE BIG

Longer words don't just score more — they score exponentially more. A 3-letter word earns you around 500 points. A 7-letter word? Over 8,000. Hold out for that perfect placement and the payoff is massive. But every letter you drop fills the board a little more, so patience has a price.

CHAIN REACTIONS & COMBOS

Pop a word and the tiles above cascade down. If falling letters form another word automatically, you've triggered a chain — and your score multiplier climbs with every link. Stack a cross where a horizontal and vertical word overlap, and both words score double. The bigger the cluster, the bigger the bonus.

THE BOARD FIGHTS BACK

Every letter you drop counts against you. Drop too many without clearing words and the bottom row turns into an impassable wall — pushing everything upward. Wall rows stack level after level, shrinking your playable space and forcing faster, smarter decisions. Clear enough words to level up, and the walls come down.

Jibberpop uses a curated local dictionary — no internet required for validation. Wild tiles (marked #) can stand in for any letter, opening up otherwise impossible words.
